Insurance Question.... Your Answers please!

Ok, i never seem to be able to ask a simple question on here.

Basically, last week i bought my GTI and im taking it back to the garage tomorrow to get a leak fixed (letting water in).
They are going to let me have back my crappy R reg astra (which im still the reg owner for as im waiting for V5 to come back from DVLA following number plate retention).
Now, will i have to get a seperate insurance policy to drive my astra back?  or will it be covered under my Fully comprehensive Golf insurance??
Any ideas?

Hello mate,

You will need to get seperate cover for the astra, perhaps a short term policy? (or get it temporarily added back on to your existing policy if possible). The Driving other cars under your existing policy will NOT cover cars owned by yourself.

Cheers for that, just phoned back direct swine and have added my old astra for a week to my policy for a meager fee of £11!
