Hello,

I have just purchased a 1990 Mk2 16v GTI for my wife. I'm a keen mechanic and am looking forward to getting dirty and bringing it up to its former glory. I have been lurking on the forum for a couple of weeks reading avidly and I must say that it is a fantastic source of information. The car has been MOT'd today so am looking forward to picking it up and servicing it.
