My golf gti mk3 8v has develpoed a whinning noise and it gets louder when i drop the clutch? and when driving if i turn the engine off i can still hear this whir/whine it also increases in volume the faster i go i have had the wheel bearings checked and its not them. any one had this or knows what it might be? thanks
