Can anyone identify this sender for me?

Looking at the car from the passenger side it's the one to the left of the plastic coolant flange and has a green/red wire going to it. Can anyone tell me what it's called and for?

the one in thne centre of the picture.

I'm guessing its a 16v.

Thats a temp sender, and one of three identical one's on the head. One controls the water temp gauge, one the ECU and one, err.. something else. Have a search of the forum and you'll find the answer. The wire colours will tell you which is which.
