dodgy electrics
« on: 28 March 2008, 13:04 »
when u flash main beam, when headlights are not in use (i.e. in the day) all the blue lights in the dash come on and there is a buzzing sound from the dash...

the lights around the dash also flicker at idle, and the ones around the stereo

also; maybe this is related:

my speakers are terrbile...the bass speaker only works on one side (passenger)  and the other side's bass speaker (drives side) seems to die at low revs and just randomly at other times...and when u rev is, sometimes it brings the bass speaker back...i know it maybe connections, but its so wierd...also, the passenger bass speaker does occasionaly decide to work, and works perfectly.

the tweeter on drivers side is always ok; as is the passeneger side one

Many thanks, Andy

Sounds to me like dodgy wiring in general, but your dash isnt connected to your speakers in any way wiring wise

check your earth straps in the engine bay and around the battery before stripping apart the whole car apart
