just whack some engine flush in, and do what it says on the tin, tehn drain and slap some bog standard oil in.
if not then double check the noise is coming from insode the head, and not as mr blue says, a stud on the outside.
then if it is inside, as stated above, its a pretty simple job to change the tappets, but its tedious and boring if you ask me.
i've done it a couple of times without removing the cambelt completely, and i've just slacked off the cambelt, and marked up on the belt which tooth fits in which recess with some paint or tipex, then ties the belt upto the bonnet so its tight and wont slip a tooth on the bottom end.
then when putting it all together i've just made sure it doesnt slip a tooth again and lined up the camshaft by hand then voila!
pretty straight forward. make sure you release the cam bridges in the correct order though. otherwise you'll end up in a right pickle like i once did haha.
