hi guys
what sort of mileage should i be getting out of my mk1 gti. cos mine is a greedy git. how can it be improved?

i would be grateful for any tips

I can get upto 40MPG, but usually 33 is an average

My mfa tells me I average around 12 mpg,can`t be ri :oght!

My MFA shows 84 mpg, I know thats not right ;).

I am sure mine is about right,?25 of fuel gives me about 160 miles :'(,time for a tune up I think.

I reckon I get around the 33 mpg as an average. I put in about ?38 and get about 280 miles out of it.

a full tank on mine is about ?40 and i cover about 400 motorway miles :)
