Hey all, i'm doing a gearbox change on my 1.6 Driver as the layshaft bearing has shagged itself out and I need to get the hubs loose to get the driveshafts out.

Now, what size is the hub nut as i don't have a socket thats fits and GSF weren't able to help either :(

p.s. This is probably a very daft thing to ask :P

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

measure it ;)

I did but tape measures aren't that accurate when doing it by eye, Verniers are much better but I don't have any :(

Cheers btw Diamond, it's back to the autofactors for me then!

If you're in Bristol I have one and a breaker bar.  I'm quite happy to offer their use, if convenient.
