mfa rooted

my mfa or whatever it is called (that little digital display) is not operating as desired. half the time it is displaying all possible characters, and the rest of the time its blank.

whats the deal with these, do they die of old age? or could this be due to loose or corroded wires?

Theres loads of info on this in here. Use the search function while in the Mk2 section and have a read. You might be lucky and its an earth issue but I doubt it.
