temperature light flashing

it keeps flashin and it seems to only to be doin after i have changed the oil. and the temp gauge dont move that much from cold after a long run to work. any idears and im newish to cars thanks

mine flashed yesterday but thats cos my radiator is fecked, fitting new one 2moro........maybe ya thermostat is sh@gged
