some people are crazy (I mean Hurdy).
If I had the cash for luxuries like carbon fiber bonnet and mirrors, I'd buy something different from GTI instead, some sportcar, and not a hatch with sporty aspirations.

....That silver CF with the silver paintwork looks stunning!! It's very subtle and very individual, plus you have all the advantages of CF. It looks even better than I imagined and I look forward to seeing it at the show at Santa Pod .

I doubt very much indeed whether silver CF would look good with any other paint colour than silver.

Sorry but i think hurdy you may of gone too far!!, ok the wing mirrors look ok , but going for a carbon fibre bonnet, what on earth were you thinking !!!. i cannot see what your trying to achieve??? why loose a shiny bonnet ?? i would of thought under bonnet like redrobin?
so ok when are u gonna CF the doors,wings,roof and tailgate so it matches??

Mind was seeded for a CF bonnet after a birk in a flatbed deposited a steel nut on my bonnet at 60mph. It din't do much damage, but enough to set me thinking
