16V Front Grille Badge???

Hi All

Cant believe after two proud years of owning the valver i've only kopped on now that some have red 16v badges on the front grille, some have red gti badges on the front and some have standard silver GTI badges.

I have the red 16v badge on the back under the Golf Gti (which i know is correct) and just silver GTI on the front grille. I always assumed my 16v was standard the way i bought it.

Im sure someone knows what badge is meant to be on the front grille??? Its a 1995 by the way

Some have gti and others have 16v...there's not a rule when it comes to badges these cars!!

So even from standard the car can come from the factory with 16v or GTI in silver or red on the front grille?

only the anniversary had red gti badge and all the 8 & 16v had red gti
and it was pot luck on red 16v or silver gti...
