Does anyone have an idea of cost of putting a Mk3 2.0 16v motor in a Mk2 ?

It depends how cheaply you can find an ABF Motor, really.  The loom should plug into the board of a 90 spec car.  You should probably go rod to cable change box and retain the original-fit gearbox.

You're gonna need better brakes though.....
