dash lights

Hi guys... all interior lights on my car work, apart from the heater dials, and the rear screen demister.

The aircon one is the only one that works in that area...

Just a case of bulbs?

I'd say so yeah. Could also be damaged wiring, easily done when putting a new head unit in

Second option is quite possible, I fitted a new head unit a week ago, (before I ever drove it at night)

Shall i get the head unit back out and have a look?

definately. Check you've not pulled a plug or anything. When you put the head unit back in, make sure you push all the wiring down to the left (there's a gap for it all) before pushing it in otherwise it'll trap at the back of the head unit. If the head unit has one of them screw on rubber bungs at the back then just remove it
