i get a clunk whenever i turn my steering wheel to the right tightly at slow speeds at the front left end. i soundsl ike its coming fomr the axle or boot etc. its not too loud, but u can feel it notching through the steeing wheel . also when i brake hard to a stop then let the brakes off i get the same sort of clunk. any ideas??

not really a clunk, but i got those brake ducts and the one on the left keeps fallin off one of its fixings and just dangles under the car and when i lock it this bumps against the wheel.

CV joint? When you turn at low speeds ''click, click, click'' ? ? ??
think gambit had a problem like that and something needed welding, not sure.
