Stainless Exaust

Will a 16v Stainless cat back exaust fit an 8v GTi ? I have been offered one at a very good price !

16v isnt a straight swap onto an 8v. But i think you can get a ring that decreases, so the bigger 16v will fit onto the 8v pipe.....

Ive never seen an exhaust that fits an 8v and 16v, they always are seperate items.

So the answer is no, without a bit of a tinker and weld.  :cool:

not direct fit but you can add a reducer to the 16v exhaust (best area is just after the cat as theres a long stright pipe ready for butchering)
