I don't want to get a standard GTI rear, just so I can colour code and glue a bit to it and now it looks like the R32 section wouldn't accept the OSIR part either!!!

You're kind of in the same boat as me.  I was pretty sure the standard GTI & ED30 rear had more differences than being painted and the wee exhaust lip - hence why I was wanting a pic of both side by side.
It looks like you've already confirmed this though!

I need a new 'spoiler' anyway as mine has a hole in it, but I don't really want to put a standard GTI one on just to stick the CF trim ontop.  The R32 bumper would definately look much better with this on - but surely there must be another way apart from nodding my exhausts?

Does anyone make an aftermarket R32 tail pipe trim with a single twin exhaust exit?

....I don't know of anyone. From what I've seen of OSIR's products, Riso may still bring out a twin pipe version. I think it's worth everyone who wants one, telling Justin at the TTshop because he talks to Riso fairly regularly. Riso might be planning it anyway because there obviously a bigger market for standard twin pipe owners.

Im still wondering how the guy with the grey GTI in the pic above managed to get an ED30 lookalike valance on the R32 spoiler?

New ED30 1 piece "spoiler" from VW half painted as apposed to an R32 "spoiler" with a single exhaust trim?
