Distributor for Mk1 1.1 X reg(82)

Hello all

Can some one tell me if you can replace the oil seal on the crankshaft end of the distributor or do I need a new one?

If a new one is needed has anyone got a good place to start for a second hand one?  They need to be able to do mail order as no working car at the mo!

Hi Tony, do you mean the "o" ring on the body of the distributer?. That is easy to change and availible from WV, if it is the internal seal the distributer it needs to be stripped down. Get the part # off the seal and go to your local seal specialist.
