Just brought a mk4 gti 2.0ltr black 3door.
Was wondering wat the most popular modifications are.
Seen some nice aniversary wheels on ebay but have herd stories about them corroding easily.
Is there any effective engine mods that can be done to improve performace?
Yes Get some 18" wheels
As for the performance in a word no not really, Not without spending mega money. Your engine is a 2.0 8v and is only putting out 115 bhp not forgetting the mk4 golf is a heavy car.
(Most small cars now have at least this much power)
The pick of the bunch in the mk4 are the Tdi 150 and the 1.8T Both are 150 bhp and highly tuneable by remapping ect.
