Bloody Chavs
« on: 09 March 2008, 14:44 »
Hi,

Just got back from snowboarding in france to find my drivers side wing mirror snappped clean off!

The chavs done a load of cars in the road, Im so gutted.

It actually snapped the cast ally plate that fixes through the door onto the car. I've managed to bodge it with some metal glue and a plate but will need to replace it.

Does anyone know if I can just replace the cast plate or do I need to replace the whole mirror?

Don't suppose anyone has a spare drivers side electric mirror they want to sell me??

Edd

Its a 1991 MK2 16v 3 door golf. Are the wing mirrors different on a 5 door or the same for all mk2 golfs?
