Ordered late May 2005 and delivered early August 2005. I tried to collect from Wolfsburg but the bureacracy and paperwork was beyond ridiculous!

Ordered mid October 07, ready mid January... pretty much what they suggested - 10-12 weeks at the time, but I'd guess that fewer people buy a car in mid winter, so perhaps the waiting list will grow again.

so 3 months ~ 12 weeks , although I was expecting 14-16 tbh but it came early :-)

I oredered mine on the 1st December and it came on the 14th January , it was around 6 weeks roughly, I was lucky I suppose looking at all the other posts in this thread  :smiley:

We had a nine month waiting list...

But got our GTI earlier. So 6 months wait for us  :shocked:

Ordered 21 November 07, latest delivery *estimate* is for 7 March 08. 107 days - not that I am counting or anything!!

Ordered late December, confirmed delivery date of 1st March. Dealer said it's the quickest build date he's had... I'm assuming someone changed their order, releasing a car that already had a build date or something. Cars built and in transit. Dealer expects it in a week or two, but naturally I'm waiting for the new plates.

16 weeks and 5 days!

It was 16 weeks from order day til "the phone call" day to say it was on its way over, picked it up by the end of that week.

Calling it a painful wait would be an understatement!

Orderd 6/11/07
Arrived at dealers 2/1/08
Drove away in it 14/1/08

So 8 weeks from ordering to it arriving at the dealers and nearly 10 weeks from ordering to me getting my hands on it!
