Removing my rear drivers side glass
« on: 28 January 2008, 22:14 »

Hi all

Im J, Just recently bought a Mk4 2000 GTI Its brilliant apart from the fact that my bl**dy rear drivers side window has broken. im sure you have all heard this before!!! lol this is my 3rd golf and i thought by now they would have sorted this problem!!!

So lets get to the point!!

Removed my door pannel and found a few nuts which i have undone! but still no movment
Can someone please tell me how the hell you get the glass out??? I can feel some sort of clip. Any idea how its removed???
There also seem to be 2 rivetts. Do they need to be drilled out before i go further???

All help will be apreciated

And im sorry that my first post is one with a problem

Cheers

J

i'm sure the rears have a push in plug in them .has a hole in the glass where the plug goes in and this holds the window in.

mk3 golf 1.8t ,280mm front brakes rear disc conversion,coillies.
