Gt Tdi 130 Bhp Please Help..

i recently bought a 130 golf,neds few thing like..see when i put it down..no turbo cum,s on its slower dan a str8 diesel n there is puffs of black smoke..but the car has been lying 6 months at least..i put intercooler on it with ne wpipes and egr vavle..it also reved round to the 6000 by itself last nyt..does the egr valve control the revving and would i need to get it set?most of all..could my vacuum pipe sbe on wrong or sumfing for the turbo not to pick up at all and its quite loud when i rev it

I could be wildly off course here but iv heard that TD engines revving by them selves is due to a problem with the turbo. Something about the turbo sending engine oil from what i presume is the cooling/lubricating pipes (presuming the the turbo is oil cooled) through so in effect the engine is running on the engine oil and in worst case the engine destroys itsself.

someone correct me if that is all BS.
