Hi,

The pipe fittings that connect to the Fuel Pressure Accumultator are badly corroded and the one on the upstream side is leaking quite badly. The car starts and runs ok.

Will the be any problems in bypassing the accumulator by joining the two pipes together, just as a temporary measure until i can afford a new accumulator and pipes or get hold of a second hand one. As it is only an accumulator to hold pressure when the engine is off and doesn't really affect the fuel supply when running (except may help when booting it suddenly) I can't really see that it should cause any problems as a temporary fix.

Can anyone say whether it will or won't work? Has anyone done this before?

Cheers
