Nope just check all over the boot and still no sign of it.

Any other way of checking other than ringing VW?

i didnt get a personal manual i got a universal sort of 1 talks about the car in general not my atcual 1

so no service book and no white sticker in the boot, -if theres no sticker in the back its normally been rear ended .there always there ,mine is on the right side off the wheel well -closer to the back seats before the cover plate for fuel sender.

mk3 golf 1.8t ,280mm front brakes rear disc conversion,coillies.

Mines under the boot carpet as bradley said by the boot carpet. Says the nmber plate, engine code, and paint code n stuff.

Thats it. The color codes begin with LA which is lacquer which means paint.

Thats it. The color codes begin with LA which is lacquer which means paint.

Should have a number on it too.
