OIL CONSUMPTION?

just thinking about it i ran my 2.0 a bit low on oil and when i topped up b4 i did a 1000 mile trip to newcastle and manchester then did an oil change with new plugs n filters and its been fine since, just another thing to throw in!!! bloody vw's

it's a 2.0l w reg..

With the amount of water I get under the filler cap i wouldn't be surprised if it's just water dripping into the engine oil but i'd imagine that aint good either !

I wonder if this is somehow related to my oil change and the fact that it's not using sh!t loads of oil like it was before.  I've not needed to put any in once since it was done and I was doing it every 3 weeks or so before.

i'll keep an eye on it.... and hopefully manage to swap it for a 1.8t before something goes
