Never had that problem and so long ad you keep access through the boot then no probe getting in even if the battery or Fobs go belly up. I changed my piece of p1ss and no door card removal necessary. When's the transplant happening?

Nice one dude, I'll change them sometime this week.

Transplant is happening next weekend, starts midnight friday, should have the 8v engine out in the early hours of the morning and then saturday morning get the 16v engine in the shell. Spend the rest of the day setting up the new engine and making sure it runs smooth and reliably  :smiley:

Ferry trip back is on Monday at almost midnight, so got 3 full days to do this conversion in  :smiley:
