How do i do this?
« on: 11 March 2004, 13:51 »
Have a look at this picture, which i stole from the "VDO......" thread... I want to know how to get the red stripe off my car, to swap it for one like in this car. Mine is silver at the moment, but red looks quite cool. Also, if any one has a dash with the red stripe rather than silver, can i have a look at a picture of it, so i can get an idea of what the whole dash looks like? Thank you.

I know how to get it red, with the red bumper sticker stuff, I just wanted to know how to actually get it off!! Is it just stuck on or what?

So, i am right in sayng that that person painted his then, its not standard on 16V cars or somehting?

This is what it looks like now. Not sure about it though, might be a bit "too much" especially with the fan dials too. Good job i didn't paint it, i can just peel it off!! Might be better with a darker red??
