second hand ISV what price

for an 8V obviously a risk if it works although is stated that the car ran fine before but who knows. Is it worth £20....?????

b4 you buy. get some break cleaner and drop your isv in it (fully submerge) give it a wash out then pull it out and leave it 10 - 15 mins and try it. should do the trick as the only block up normally unless its broken but its worth a try.

£20 is about right if delivery is included. if its from a scrap yard haggle and fit it there b4 you pay so you it works.

Left it soaking in petrol as rubjonny suggested and also submerged it while it was whirring. Not much gunk came out though and I've still got the high revs problem that I had before on start up.

Delivery was £3.75.

Would be p'd off if I bought it though and I still have the same problem so not sure what to do.
