Hi
I have noticed a knocking and creaking sound coming from the rear of my GTI (1.8T) the knocking has been attributed to the rear bushes and need to be replaced soon, but the other noise is very strange as it goes away when the weather is very wet? Couple of days after the noise returns. Is it possible that the noise is being caused by the worn bushes and when it rains they expand with the moisture? Or am I talking out of my @*%?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
