changing heater unit?

hi guys i have a mk4 gti with the standard 3 heater controls and wanted to change to the climate control unit. same thing only with buttons instead of knobs.just wanted to know is there wiring set up in the car to take it or does it have to be wired in after?
?

buy a car with climatronic; easier, quicker and cheaper.
also climatronic cars tended to have more problems with units and fans failing; stick with what you got; nowt wrong with it and less to go wrong!!
