yeah from the factory on manual racks the passenger side track rod & end were a single pice and not adjustible.  You can't buy these anymore, the only ones you can get are the adjustible type, what you need is the complete track rod & end for a manual rack

Problem is actually getting the bastard off, there aint much room to work!

so if i can get car on a ramp would it be easier to take the rack off

not really, trouble is its bolted to the top of the subframe so access is limited.  If you took the wishbone off on that side and pout it on full lock I think you can get in there with the spanners, if you can get it on a ramp it will be much easier
