Clutch problem. :(

the other nite i was driving and as i presses the clutch down something sorta snapped and now you cant get it to work, its ether springs fully down to the floor or the other way both have no clutch effect and im not sure whether its a garage job or a simple adjuster or cable change. i love my gti but seriously getting fed up. please help!  :sick:

There is one to check if your clutch is gone make sure you have plenty of space in front of you, put the car in 1st gear and  crank the engine over on the key if the lurchess forward then you know the clutch is fine.Have you checked the arm on the gearbox to see if it is broken.If none of  the above then it shouldn't be too hard too fix. good luck.
i was told the 020 rod box was supposed to be a strong box,how wrong are they 5 and counting on my mk2. Hopefully the quaiffe box will last.

yes i managed to bump it to drive home in 1st gear as the petal is flat to the floor  :undecided:
