I posted something in the track days a while back. The Castle Combe event on 12th June is the annual action day (part 2), which is open to any car (?20 for 5 laps). The first action day is next month, so hopefully there will be a golfgti.co.uk presence! VW Driver organise the VAG day but that is on 24th July (www.autometrix.co.uk). Anyone going on that??

i remember you posting about that but i got some stuff through the post saying that the 12th was VAG day at Castle Combe.

They even had a picture of a Mk1 going around the track to advertise it.

the leaflet i got says its a VAG day with 'The Golf' mag. It says it'll be celebrating the 30year of the Gti.

I suspect as per usual it will be open to anyone with the Golf as the theme.

Should be good. Might be worth looking at a club stand as we'd get free tickets and some track passes.

Even more reason to go in June as well as April then!! The Golf Mag would make sense as when I phoned a few weeks ago it was no longer Car and Car Conversions who were sponsoring the event. Can we get  stand sorted then??
