Nice shot.
It might just be my monitor here, but it looks like it could have done with a slightly higher shutter speed.
Depth of Field is good as is the focus, but it's just not quite 100% sharp. But that's being critical and as you can see below, my most recent macro isn't any better:

Taken with my Minolta 70-210 f4 lens, which isn't quite a true macro lens.

Yeah I agree, I think the aperture should have been f11/16 rather than f22.

It was handheld and the camera, lense and flash weigh a bloody tonne. Also the deth of field is so small even at that aperture when focussing. I should have also used high speed sync with the flash as you say. May invest in a cheap ring flash actually.

But for £40 the macro adapter is pretty amazing, need to get a step down ring to attach rather than the universal mount.

my good friend managed to snap this, but they disappeared before i could get my macro out    :angry:
