MK2 Rear Calipers - Clockwise or Anti-clockwise
« on: 01 November 2007, 19:02 »
What way do you turn the piston to push it back in? I tried both ways and it did not seem to make any difference!? I do not have the correct tool to locate the two slots I just used a pair of pipe grips!

Also, whats the best way free up a binding rear caliper?

any advice much appreciated (apart from people advising to search the forum!)

clockwise to wind in

try duck oil or similar to free it off then use some anti seize type stuff to keep it free
