'86 8V K-jet Golf GTI 133K experiences hard starting (takes 2-3 runs of starter motor to fire up) but only when near cold (returning to car after 3-4 hours).
Car starts on the button when fully cold first thing in the morning. Also starts first time when being left for 10 mins after a run.
Any one else had the same symptoms with their K-jet and found a resolution before I go thru the laborious task of checking all parts of the fuel system as laid out in Haynes or "Bosch Fuel Injection" by Probst ?
