My GTD and the ride home (well in my case not)

So there I was leaving work after 14 hours and drive out of our secure area. Go over the first speed hump any hear a horrible noise. Pull over and walk around the car (still in my suit). Feel around the arches and offside rear tyre is resting in the arch. First thought is that someone has tried to nick the wheels. Jack her up and check. Nope the hub is all over the place. Could not do much as it is dark so will assess in the morning.
I hate old cars at the moment!

Rusted shock top cap i expect, tend to on these, tenner a side, you may be ok but you may also find the shock is now bent, good excuse to stick a set of new rear shocks on anyway, can be done for under a ton including new bump stops and mounts etc
