what oil do you use?

what oil do you use? i have recently bought gulf 15w40? what do you think of it? is that good for my gti 8v?

Depends if its high mileage? I use 15/40 GTX oil, works for me!

I use 10/40 semi syn.... i get trade discount on valvoline and use that at the mo

what BB says ^^^^^^

although i use mobil or quantum both around the £22 - £24 mark
dont waste your money on the 50 quid version of the mobil either...

have used Castrol GTX Magnatect in all my cars since it came out!

has been a lot of talk on this forum about VW dealers - Syntha Gold.

the quantum i use regulary is also from the main dealer...
and is very good

Fuches 10w 40 Semi Synthetic I put in mine last oil change from GSF !! £16.39
