Most are not new but rewinds.

A rewind should be 80 to 100

Yea think Slick answered it in the garage section. It depends on the amperage you want.

seen them go for peanuts on the bay (used)
and a brand new one went for 40 notes a bit back

failing that, halfords to them and if you give them your old unit they knock loads £Â£Ã‚£ off, as said before they are mostly refurbed units you buy anyhow

its worth replacing the alty belt at the same time...can save hassle later on and for about £8.....

Gave Halfords a call, they want over £200 for one. HAHA  :grin:
