Key Coding - how long?

Picking up the spare key that the stealer never supplied with the car a week on Sat and have booked it in for 9am.  All well and good I thought until the wife tells me that we have to go and look at wedding fecking cakes at 10.30 the same morning   

So my question is has anyone had a key coded at VW and how long does it take?

had mine done,i just left if for the afternoon thow. dont know how long it actually took them

should only take about twenty mins!!!!

yep. certainly shouldnt take more than 30min but the monkeys in some of VW outlets have a problem keeping time
