Sh|tty light from headlights???

A while ago I put some crystal somked headlights on,

Now the crappy dark mornings/nights are hear I need the lights on, but the light they give out is p|ss poor??

Anyone else any experience of this?

I have not had them aligned, and look like they are pointing too low - but even so they are kak!

Any clues?


PS running an uprated loom.... so this is not the issue!

What bulbs have you got in them and do they have an E-mark?

The bulbs are std wattage but the white light ones - were fine in my old lenses.
The crystal smokes have an E mark but can't remember the number after it. The weather is horrendous atm so I aint going out to have a look!!!

They are more than likely LHD though. Surely this doesn't effect the amount of light they emit though!?

hate to tell you but mk2 lights are  and  even with uprated loom! but having smoked head lights  thats just silly!

H.I.D? maybe they might offer you more light? I'm asking santa this year for a set

My g60 had smoked x hairs when I bought it. One fast drive on a B road late at night was enough to make pull them off. Went back to OEM lights and fitted an extra wiring loom with Philips Ultra bright bulbs, now I can see where I am going !

I'm keeping them on cos I like the look of them

I'll get them aligned and if not I'll stick some higher wattage bulbs in!!!

Just make sure the lenses are glass dude and not the crappy plastic ones, don't wanna melt em

An uprated loom does help. The diffrence is shocking.
