Clunking noise turning corners nd its not cv related

sounds like springs are turning in strut any ideas?

any reason you dont reckon its CV's?

cvs ar brand new iv been told that its a common problem for the top strut mount to cease and thats what the problem is?

i was told that about the strut mounts too, and it turned out to be my exhaust rubbers!  the exhaust was swinging around and clunking about.  cheap to replace, might be worth a look.
           
Mk2 16v is off the road :(  Mk3 8v has taken its place :)
