I'm trying to sort insurance on my MKII 8v and it's all just wrong!
I've tried HIC via Martin and Adrian Flux (whom I have my camper insured with) and everyone is coming up with quotes of £400+. This is for a bog standard car whereas my old white one which was modded (Lowered, alloys etc) was cheaper! I think premiums must have gone up a tad in the last 6 months as my status as a driver has not changed (no new points, claims, haven't moved etc.).
