audi 90 seat fitment help needed into mk2
« on: 07 September 2007, 17:47 »
i dont know if you guys could help me but it would be nice if you knew the answer, ive just bought myself some seats from an audi 90 up the scrapyard, there really nice and alot better than the ones in my mk2, anyway the sliders are exactly the same and will fit in my mk2 if they werent ever so slightly too wide, is there anyway of making them fit? surely its been done before, also does anyone know if the front brakes off this car would fit my mk2 cuz the callipers and discs were huge and i wouldnt mind some extra stopping power, ill upload some pics later of the seats and show you the idea i have that could make them fit, thanks for reading this guys pleae let me know if you can help

the seats would fit if you are a bit handy with a welder. to make golf mk3 seats fit you have to chop off the inner leg ( i think) and weld it in closer, so i assume the same would be for this.
the audi calipers and carriers would fit, assuming you have late 16v hubs, but the discs would be the wrong stud pattern. i assume the audi ones are either 280 or 288mm so you'd need g60 discs/pads if the calipers/carriers are ok.

You should be able to take the hub from the audi too? The wheel bearings and drive must be the same, you can then use the discs, and look for some audi wheels!!!
