Wax Nerd Alert
« on: 11 June 2007, 09:21 »
As some of you might have gathered I'm a bit of a wax nerd, so at the weekend I tried some of this stuff

It has to be the easiest wax I've ever used, it's an absolute pleasure to apply and a breeze to take off, the results were very good, I can't say any better than Meguires but definitely as good a Zymol titanium, and a third of the price at under £20 a tub. 8)

i'm currently using collinite #476 and collinite #915 on top of it.

the #476 was recommended on detailingworld for silver cars, and #915 has more carnauba content.

IMO its better than nxt, not had the chance / money to try zymol yet

what color car you using that wax on?  any chance of getting some pics up?

My cars a Deep pearl Blue, and yes I'll take some pic's ASAP, I've tried the Zymol and yes it's good, but a pain to use. bodywork temp has to be just right.

I use the P21S myself. Its a delight to use. I always use the P21S paintwork cleaner before i apply the wax and that makes it even easier as the cleanser really smoothens my panels to a nice silky touch.
I waxed it on saturday and its still gleaming

It works a treat on the alloys aswell and the lights!!!

Another vote for p21s here...although I will be doing the collinite 476/915 thing when the p21s runs low
