How do you get the oil filter housing of on a mk2 golf 16v see the 1 bolt at the top and 2 at the bottem, but how do you get the bottom ones out?????? help me please!!

you have too take off the oil cooler to get to them. you do this by taking off the oil filter then undo centre nut this holds cooler on!! then you will get to them.

take the filter off, then there should be a larger 27mm nut that holds the coole on. You will need a deep socket for this. Undo it and ytake the cooler off, you should then have access to the bolts.
