Ok so got the baby back and heres my list of jobs to do.

• Offside front drivers seat cannot be secured in up rigth position.

• Both headlamps aim to high.

• centre exhaust system has a major leak of exhaust gasses.

• offside front constant velocity joint gaiter split   (WTF dose that mean)

• Offside front (track rod end) steering system has a road wheel fouling a part of the vehicle (again wtf dose that mean)

• offside rear coil spring cracked

any ideas people and is this all fairly easy to remedy myself as i want to do as much as possible myself.

Exhaust should be easy, or at least it should be if even I can do it!

Seat = get some new clips for the runners
Headlamps = any decent MOT centre will adjust these for free
Exhaust = repair or replace/go to kak-fit and see whats what 
CV boot = replace/messy but only £5 (search the forum its been well covered)
track rod end (part of steering rack) = either bent or worn so the wheel is touching it/replace (part about £20/fitting 2hours max)
rear coil spring = replace both rear

nice'n'easy really, you could have it done over the weekend

offside front constant velocity joint gaiter split   (WTF dose that mean)

The constant velocity joint is a universal link of which there are two per drive shaft. They allow the wheels to be turned whilst still providing drive to the wheels. They are heavily greased, thus need a boot or a gator to retain the grease within the boot. This boot is split which means that the grease will be lost and the constant velocity (CV) joint will run dry, resulting in a possible failure, which I have seen to be catastrophic. This boot needs to be replaced.

Offside front (track rod end) steering system has a road wheel fouling a part of the vehicle (again wtf dose that mean)

The track rod end is at the very end of the rod that comes out of the steering rack. Track rod end is adjustable in and out to provide toe in or out adjustment of your front wheels. If the car is driving true and the rod and rod ends are not damaged, then check the adjustment of the opposite one. You may find that one is at maximum adjustment and the other is at minimum adjustment. Best to get these adjusted at a garage that can do wheel alignment.

Always replace suspension parts in matched pairs. So a replacement of both rear springs is required.

A haynes manual will give you all the info you need for rectifying your points of failure. None of these jobs are difficult.

ok looking for parts at the mo but not finding the correct ones i think i cant finder the cv boot gaitor only cv kits and there nearly 40 quid in some places, ive found the r/h trackrod P.A.Scarying from 13-30 quid.

Where do u lot shop
