Hi all i am new to forum i recently bought a 150 tdi gt pd 2003 0n a 52,
i just had it Remaped 190 bhp and a piper filter when i change gears and accelerate
a burst of dark smoke comes :sick: out is this ok?
Can anyone help,car feels fine just wondered if this was natural. :shocked

aslong as its black smoke and not blue thats a good sign !! it is a deisel you bought  :grin:

depends how much smoke you're talking about and for how long for.

even without the remap you would have got some smoke when you "dropped the cog" as long as its just when you accelerate then i wouldn't worry about it, if its constant then, the remap may have been too aggressive.

Yep its just if i accelerate hard that smoke appears  if i take it easier not much smoke ,thanks for help.

Does anyone no of a good spray paint shop in the nortwest area astley would be good.
