Reccaro's
« on: 24 July 2007, 22:31 »
Fingers crossed and my Gti will be ready for collection in a few weeks.  I've gone for leather reccaro's and might have made a mistake, they're not easy to get out of.  Is it a simple job to swop them for the standard heated leather seats?  If I don't get on with them is anyone interested in exchanging a nearly new set of standard leather seats plus cash?

Phil

I don't think it's quite that simple as the standard seats have air bags in them and the recaro's don't. I don't know how much electrical gubbins you'll need to play with but I would of thought a few leads and an adjustment via Vag-Com are a minimum.

they are lush indeed...but if you get in and out of the car a lot, then the right hand side bolster creases up real bad..to the point if put me off buying a car with them in it, as everyone i looked at had a practically collapsed bolster and it looked cack.
